Durood Sharif and Its Relevance in The Reflection of Quran and Hadith

The Hadith and Quran are all about Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) and it was declared that Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) itself is the complete Quran. Listed below are some of the Hadith and Quranic verses on the importance of Durood-e-Pak:

Holy Prophet (S.A.W) benefits the whole world so, Allah Almighty said in the Holy Quran that:

Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels [ask Him to do so]. O you who have believed, ask [Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [Allah to grant him] peace. (Al-Ahzaab, 33: 56)

In a Hadith Abdullah bin Mas'ud narrated that:

Allah's Messenger said: "The person closest to me on the Day of Judgement is the one who sent the most Salat upon me." (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 484)

In another Hadith 'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'As (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:

I heard the Messenger of Allah () saying: "Whoever supplicates Allah to exalt my mention, Allah will exalt his mention ten times." (Muslim, Riyad as-Salihin 1397)

Moreover, Allah gets pleased with those who send Durood-e-Pak on His Last Messenger:

Anas bin Malik said:

"The Messenger of Allah () said: "Whoever sends Salah upon me once, Allah (SWT) will send Salah upon him tenfold, and will erase ten sins from him, and will raise him ten degrees in status." (Sunan an-Nasa'i 1297)

It was narrated from Aws bin Aws that:

The Prophet () said: "One of the best of your days is Friday. On this day, Adam was created and on this day he died, on this day the Trumpet will be blown, and on this day all creatures will swoon. So send a great deal of Salah upon me on this day, for your Salah will be presented to me." They said: "O Messenger of Allah (), how will our Salah be presented to you when you have decomposed (after death)?" He said: "Allah (SWT), the Mighty and Sublime, has forbidden the earth to consume the bodies of the prophets, peace be upon them." (Sunan an-Nasa'i: Book 14, Hadith 1385)
