should recite it as often as possible as it gets everyone closest to Allah and
His Messenger, Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). Durood
Sharif is an Islamic assertion or conventionally positive term used after the
name of Hazrat Muhammad (P.B.U.H). Not just this, but it fosters love and
affection for the Prophet (S.A.W). It is the heart of religion and deeply
lucrative practice for both this life and the next. The bestowal of divine grace on Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H)
is the holiest and most praiseworthy act of our religion. Durood Shareef is the name given to these divine
blessings. Allah Almighty also sends Durood and Salam to Hazrat Muhammad
(S.A.W) and truly blesses him. Allah has ordered Malaa'ikah and Muslims to send
Durood Sharif on Prophet (S.A.W), Muslims do so and show their respect and
reverence towards Holy Prophet (S.A.W). Muslims also recite Durood Sharif in
heavy amounts when they get to perform Umrah as it is believed that it directly
reaches Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W). Especially on the day of Jummah, they recite
it back and forth straightly reaches Him. It’s a great Tasbeeh to be recited on
Umrah among all. In front of Ka’bah while worshipping you can also recite it as
a part of your prayer and get sanctified by its blessings. Moreover, it’s also
a way of acceptance of Duas and Muslims prefer to recite it before and after
making Dua. Its significance gets multiplied when you recite it while
undertaking Umrah and Allah will infinitely bless you.
Durood Sharif and Its Relevance in The Reflection of Quran and Hadith

Holy
Prophet (S.A.W) benefits the whole world so, Allah Almighty said in the Holy
Quran that:
Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon
the Prophet, and His angels [ask Him to do so]. O you who have believed, ask
[Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [Allah to grant him] peace. (Al-Ahzaab, 33: 56)
In
a Hadith Abdullah bin Mas'ud narrated that:
Allah's Messenger said: "The person
closest to me on the Day of Judgement is the one who sent the most Salat upon
me." (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 484)
In
another Hadith 'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'As (May Allah be pleased with them)
reported:
I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying:
"Whoever supplicates Allah to exalt my mention, Allah will exalt his
mention ten times." (Muslim, Riyad
as-Salihin 1397)
Moreover,

Anas
bin Malik said:

"Whoever sends Salah upon me once, Allah (SWT) will send Salah upon him
tenfold, and will erase ten sins from him, and will raise him ten degrees in
status." (Sunan an-Nasa'i 1297)
It
was narrated from Aws bin Aws that:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "One
of the best of your days is Friday. On this day, Adam was created and on this
day he died, on this day the Trumpet will be blown, and on this day all
creatures will swoon. So send a great deal of Salah upon me on this day, for
your Salah will be presented to me." They said: "O Messenger of Allah
(ﷺ), how will our Salah
be presented to you when you have decomposed (after death)?" He said:
"Allah (SWT), the Mighty and Sublime, has forbidden the earth to consume
the bodies of the prophets, peace be upon them." (Sunan an-Nasa'i: Book 14, Hadith 1385)
